Equine Assimilation for Self Expansion
Equine-e.a.s.e.® is equine assimilation for self-expansion through equine-facilitated learning (EFL) and equine-facilitated coaching (EFC). We believe that horses can be experienced as both teachers and healers for humans because they reflect back to us our behaviors, emotions and patterns of interaction. Through this reflection we develop increased awareness, connection, confidence, empowerment, and the recognition of self-limiting ways of thinking and acting.
As prey animals horses have highly developed abilities to detect the subtleties of human behavior such as emotion, intention and predatory tendencies. For many reasons we as humans have abandoned this more instinctual and emotional way of being for a more rational, cognitive one. In a world that favors logic over instinct and intellect over intuition many people will look at their lives - both personal and professional - and say, "Something is missing." Often what is missing is that connection to a more authentic way of being in the world.
As herd animals horses are highly social and curious. Their language is that of images and instincts. Human language is that of words and logic. Those persons who have successfully forged a horse-human bond have done so by learning this unspoken language - the language of the heart.

"Language can become a screen which stands between the thinker and reality. This is the reason why true creativity often starts where language ends."
